    • I return to this posting because of my dedication of promoting the extraordinary healing powers of the two simplist teas to prepare camote and papaya tea. It is important to know, I’ve read the boiling of the leaves actually enhances the release of the healing properties of these leaves and does not destroy their healthful properties. Not being a scientist in any profession, health or otherwise, you will find at my website and others which I post links to, volumes of information concerning both teas.

Papaya leaf extract (PLX), not to be confused with the boiling of the leaves to make a tea, is prepared in one traditional method, of selecting three whole leaves from a fruit bearing tree, not to young not to mature. Crush the leaves, squeeze out the juice through a cheesecloth, drink without adding anything to it. The extract is not as bad tasting as many of us addicted to *sugar and sweeteners make it out to be. For more detailed information you need to visit my site or a few others that offer suggestions on preparing PLX and the outstanding nutritional health benefits.

PLX has been scientifically researched and endorsed as a cure by two Asian research institutions. This information can be read in The Times Of India and other Asian newspapers. There is much to share about these two teas and extract. The information is not difficult to find and I will respond to any replies and post whatever links permissible at this site. I suggest you search papaya leaf cures 2013, and camote tea cures 2013 for up to date information. Scientific reports are being published frequently in regards to the benefits to be derived from camote and papaya leaves.

*sugar– I suggest to all, do the latest ‘sugar research 2013′, as it is a great determent to our health.

  10. JR Vizco… You are right about ‘best’ cure, but camote tea is like an identical twin, coming from a split of the same egg, very difficult to tell them apart, or favor one over the other. They both rapidly cure the same diseases including cancers and much more. What I suggest to readers, it depends on which of the two is available. Camote (sweet potato) can be grown for their tops in more regions that papaya trees. Living in the Philippines, we grow both in our food garden. At fresh produce market one can inquire if the leaves of the camote is available, if not finding or developing a source is vital. The vitamins, minerals, antioxidants in either will begin to improve ones health quickly. I will stop here. ;)

i love whole food that is why for me i eat it raw. but you have to sterilize using ozein to make sure that there will be no harmful microorganism that could upset you stomach.

  12. Muze says:

hi. tanong ko lang, papano pag green yung juice hindi naging pink, ok lang ba yun? hindi kasi nagtuturn into pink

  13. jim says:

If I use dried camote tops to make tea, would the effect be the same? I reside here in Sta. Mesa, Manila where I can hardly find fresh produce of camote tops (and I doubt if they are sold fresh). My father told me that they again planted camote in the province. So I’m planning to dry up some when I get back there, for my consumption here in the metro.

  14. Rose Edmonds says:

Make Kamote Tops delicious: A small amount of sesame oil on a wok, sautee chopped onion, garlic and tomato then add a dash of sea salt, curry powder and paprika then add the Kamote Top until it is half cooked. It is so yummy…
